Fix guides

  • Zebra printer printing blank labels

Blank Zebra labels usually mean the wrong media type, a missing ribbon, or a head that is not burning. Check status, then print a test.

  • Zebra printer skipping labels

Skipping labels means the sensor is looking for the wrong mark. Set gap, mark, or continuous tracking, then calibrate.

  • Calibrate a Zebra label printer

Pick the label size, set width, length, and tracking, then run media calibration. Nudge tear-off only after the crosshair looks right.

  • Zebra printer darkness

Darkness is a 0 to 30 burn level. Raise it when barcodes look pale. Lower it when the print blooms. Save after a good test label.

  • Factory reset a Zebra printer

A factory reset clears saved darkness, size, and network settings. Calibrate and set the label size again before you save a new baseline.

  • Zebra printer red light

A red light usually means paper out, a pause, or an open printhead. Read host status in plain words before you change settings.

  • EPL vs ZPL

ZPL and EPL are different command languages. A printer left on EPL ignores ZPL setup. Check the language before you change darkness or size.

  • Print from a Zebra on a Mac

Chrome or Edge on a Mac can set up a USB Zebra printer from this site. If the Mac already queued the printer, remove it and plug it in again.
