The firmware on the Bridge is public. A shop can read the code and see how a print job stays on the local network.

The published firmware is the esp32-thermal-print-bridge repository, under the MIT license.

The printer tools on this site are built with our label toolkit, which is also MIT licensed.

A broken Bridge is a warranty question. That page says what installing another build means for a repair.
