Zebra GK420d

GK420d direct-thermal desktop, ZPL, about 4 inches wide.

The GK420d is the direct-thermal GK-series desktop. Shipping workflows use it like the GX420d: ZPL, gap labels, tear-off, 203 dpi unless identification says otherwise. The 300 dpi option is listed because both heads were sold. Max width dots in this file is the 203 dpi number, 832, and must be scaled for a 300 dpi head. Top speed is written as 5 ips as a conservative desktop guess. verified is false until a unit is measured. Set direct thermal explicitly. A unit left in transfer mode will not mark coated stock.

This profile is a starting point. Dpi, top speed, and USB product id were not confirmed on hardware in this toolkit. Read the printer's own configuration label before you rely on the numbers.
