Zebra ZD420

ZD420 4 inch desktop, ZPL, 203 or 300 dpi.

The ZD420 is a 4 inch ZPL desktop that replaced a lot of GK and GX units on packing benches. Direct and transfer configurations both exist, so read the print method instead of assuming. 203 dpi width is about 832 dots. 300 dpi is wider in dots for the same physical label. This file stores the 203 dpi width and lists both resolutions. None of the numeric limits were measured on hardware for this tree. verified is false. Gap stock, tear-off, and a saved darkness are the usual shipping setup. Calibrate when the liner color changes.

This profile is a starting point. Dpi, top speed, and USB product id were not confirmed on hardware in this toolkit. Read the printer's own configuration label before you rely on the numbers.
