Zebra LP 2844-Z

2844-family desktop that can run ZPL or EPL2.

The LP 2844-Z is the bilingual sibling of the LP 2844. It can parse ZPL and still understand EPL2, selected by the device language setting. A setup tool should read the language before sending a long job. ZPL sent to an EPL session is ignored. The dot width and speed here match the 203 dpi 4 inch assumption used for the EPL-only model, and they are not hardware-verified. Prefer ZPL for new labels once the language reads back as zpl. Keep the EPL graphic wrapper for stock that already exists.

This profile is a starting point. Dpi, top speed, and USB product id were not confirmed on hardware in this toolkit. Read the printer's own configuration label before you rely on the numbers.
