The spec sheet lists 203 dpi, a 4.09 inch print width, media from 1.00 to 4.40 inches wide, and 4 inches per second. It is a Link-OS Basic printer, and it is a current model.

There is no ZD220 page under the printer tools. Do not open a guessed URL for one. The setup tool speaks ZPL from Chrome or Edge on a computer. EPL vs ZPL is how to read the language. Calibration notes that still need a check are on calibrate a Zebra. The ZD200 status light article is KB 000031396.

Drivers#

Mac setup is the CUPS path. Windows is ZDesigner, with no version number on this page. Offline queues are Zebra printer offline on Windows.

Why "ZD220 wireless" has a short answer#

The spec sheet has no network option. Sharing from a computer that stays on is the path that exists today. Make a USB label printer wireless says the same thing next to the other models. An iPhone does not see a USB ZD220d. Print shipping labels from an iPhone.

People replacing an LP2844 land here because Zebra points that discontinued printer at the ZD200 series.

Still to check#

A ZPL job and an EPL2 job from a 4x6 PDF, and a raw port 9100 job. Those checks are open.
